23-Sep-2011: King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited the Musee National Des Chateaux de Malmaison et Bois-Preau in Rueil-Malmaison, France.
The Musee National Des Chateaux de Malmaison et Bois-Preau was a residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Joséphine. Inside there is original 19th-century decor and gardens, as well as additional collections on the Napoleonic legend.
The Royal Couple posed in front of 'Bonaparte Crossing the Alps at Grand-Saint-Bernard' by Jacques-Louis David as well as viewed other works of art inside the museum, and signed the book.
