The 7th National Congress of Family Science and MPS Spain is a 2-day conference for families with children with mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) to meet with doctors, scientists, professionals and representatives of pharmaceutical companies.
Individuals with MPS do not produce effective enzymes required to break down sugars causing glycosaminoglycans to collect in the bodyresulting is permanent cellular damage which affects appearance, physical abilities, organ and system functioning, and, in most cases, mental development.
