Danish State Visit to Russia Day 2

07-Sep-2011: Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik and Crown Prince Frederik were joined by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Wednesday morning in Moscow.
Later in the day, the Crown Couple visited the Moscow House of Photography, Grundfos factory and laid a wreath at the Tomb of an Unknown soldier.

Danish Royal Family State Visit to Russia

06-Sep-2011: Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik and Crown Prince Frederik met with President Dmitry Medvedev and First Lady Svetlana during a ceremony in Moscow's Kremlin.
The State Visit will be in two parts: Moscow and then in St. Petersburg. After the Queen was met by the Russian honour guard at the airport, she met with President Dmitry Medvedev and First Lady Svetlana at the Kremlin. Afterwards, the First Lady took Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik to the Pushkin Museum in Moscow.

Queen Margrethe State Visit to Russia

06-Sep-2011: Queen Margrethe passes the Russian honour guard during the official welcome ceremony at Vnukovo airport outside Moscow.
The Queen is joined on this visit by her husband, Prince Henrik, and her oldest son, Crown Prince Frederik.  Queen Margrethe will attend several official talks in Moscow and then in St. Petersburg.

Danish Royal Family at the inauguration of a Monument to Denmark's International Efforts

05-Sep-2011: Queen Margrethe inaugurated at a ceremony at the Citadel in Copenhagen.
Queen Margrethe was assisted by her family, her husband Prince Henrik, as well as her children: Crown Prince Frederik and wife Crown Princess Mary, and Prince Joachim and wife Princess Marie. In her speech the Queen recognized all soldiers who fought abroad for Danish interests; and a special remembered for those who had falled.
