Ready for Autumn? Belt it!

Are you ready for fall fashion?!

The royal ladies have ditched their summer frocks for trench coats lately. Various cuts and colors have been seen on everyone from Queen Rania to royal-in-law Pippa Middleton. The days of your boring ol' Mac coat are over.

Going clockwise | Crown Princess Maxima showed off a classic shilloette in a wonderful navy; I love her in navy and the contrasting orange accessories really popped against the belted trench. Princess Madeleine wore a ruffle front Valentino silk-blend trench, the twist on the design offered a softer more feminine alternative. Pippa Middleton wore a black Fay trench with white contrast piping; the effect made the classic look very modern and fresh. Crown Princess Mary chose to brighten up her garden-fare with a chartreuse silk trench; while not my favorite look on her it's nice to see her playing with color.  Princess Marie, who tends to gravitate to the feminine designs, opted for an exaggerated full-skirt on her trench, creating an hourglass figure over her newly forming baby-bump.  Queen Rania opted for a cropped version in white; it's very fresh looking and extremely versatile in any wardrobe.
