Royals visit the Horn of Africa during Famine and Drought Crisis

27-Aug-2011: Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the UNHCR Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
Mary visited the Danish Refugee camp, spoke with locals and UNHCR representatives.
She explained in an interview with BT the process of entry into the camp "You can see it is a very effective way that the refugees will be received, how quickly they are funneled through, seeing them come quickly to the point where they must beat bearings - set up tent. They are vaccinated against polio, measles - the ones who have it really bad they go to the clinic - which we also visited - where the hard malnourished children and other diseases occur."

27-Aug-2011: Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal and Princess Amira al-Taweel of Saudi Arabia visited the Somalian capital of Mogadishu.
The Prince was sent as a delegate to see what aid can be given to the area that has been suffering from its worst drought and famine in decades as well as an ongoing civil war.
